Notion : Productivity Solution

No - this is not a sponsored post.

I just love to use this as a stop pit to organize my life a little bit more.

If you know me in real life, you would know that I am a fan of messiness but things still remain organized in its own way. I have my ways of putting things down to my convenience and if someone tries to organize things, I lost my sense of direction and I hate it!

I remember when I was in Uni and a friend entered my room, and she is known for her organized and clean method so she started to clean and organized my table. Oh boy - how the days turn to chaos cause I couldn't find the things that I need! I had to make it well known to my friends that no, I want things the way they are so as long as I can find my things, it's all good.

Hence, no matter how messy my table look or how the house looks, I know where my things are and I do keep bullet journaling just to make sure my life goes as plan (most of the time).
I found notion a few years back but did not really try it given that I hate the idea of sitting down and spending time on it until, I found out that you could actually clone template that people would love to share! There are quite a number of notions out there for you to clone and you can work on it from there to personalize it.

I found /revisign/ and /twirlingpages/ who shared their beautiful notions and from there, I start to personalized it according to what I need. I have to admit these two ladies did most of the jobs as almost what that I need is already in there for me to use.

Aren't it adorable? I mix and match around and managed to work it around according to my aesthetic values and I'm loving it!

The reasons why I'm using notion are the following:

easy to organize things / Once you get the idea on how things works, it's pretty easy to mingle around, making things pretty. You can add gifs, pictures that you created or even use their data base images to create a space that you like

all in one stop / I love it when everything is in the same place and although I have my bullet journal for that, I love something that allow me to track my creative space, where I have a calendar to post my blog post, instagram post (social managing for a few IG handles) and if I see something that I like, I can just park it in there.

habit tracker / Given that I am tying to improve myself this year for the better and focus ALOT on self care, there is a method that you can track your habits and it creates a cute layout.

media tracker / now, this is also something that I would like to track for the year 2021, how many movies that I watch and what kind of media am I allowing myself to absorb. Given that I learn that I am an empath, I have to be careful of what I read and watch. If I do read or watch something that is triggering, I won't be able to act normal for a couple of days so this year, I want to control more and see what I should avoid and what is good for the soul.

And that is what notion is about.
I attached a video below for those who are interested in watching more.

If you have any good tips to stay on top of your tasks, do share!

Stay safe, peeps!
